Citizens struggle with both poverty and mobbing: 29 people every day...
Complaint data from the Labor and Social Security Communication Center "ALO 170" has been revealed. According to the data, a total of 133 thousand 637 complaints were filed between March 2011 and November 2023, averaging 29 per day.
Data from the ALO 170 Labor Life Communication Center has been released.
According to the data, the number of mobbing complaint applications filed between March 2011 and November 2023 has reached nearly 150 thousand.
Evaluating the data, CHP MP Gamze Akkuş İlgezdi noted that the pressure on employees has also increased due to increasingly difficult economic conditions.
According to the report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün; based on the Labor Life Communication Center data, a total of 133 thousand 637 people reported being subjected to mobbing between March 2011 and November 2023. Stating that one person every hour, 29 per day, 870 per month, and 10 thousand 585 per year file mobbing complaints, the CHP's İlgezdi said, "Our employees are being subjected to mobbing to their very core."
"ON PAPER..."
İlgezdi stated that in her request for information, she had asked for the distribution of mobbing calls by year, age, gender, and sector, and noted the following: "If we had been provided with information on whether mobbing is more intense in the private sector or the public sector, and its distribution by age, gender, and province over the years, we could have conducted a more detailed study. However, only the number of callers was provided. The fact that the Board for Combating Psychological Harassment is not working according to its founding purpose is also revealed by the high number of mobbing complaints. While 29 mobbing complaints are received daily, it is also evident that the board exists only on paper."
