Competition Authority launches investigation into 3 cleaning companies: Reviews are ongoing
The Competition Authority continues its inspections. Most recently, a statement on the board's official social media account announced that an investigation has been launched into 3 major cleaning companies.
The Competition Authority has decided to launch an investigation into Koroplast Temizlik ve Ambalaj Ürünleri San. ve Dış Tic. AŞ (Koroplast), Provel San. ve Tic. AŞ (Parex), and VND Global Plastik AŞ (Vindex).
PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION INTO LAW VIOLATION COMPLETED
According to the announcement on the Competition Authority's social media account, the Board had decided to examine the enterprises engaged in the production and supply of non-chemical cleaning materials, food storage products, garbage bags, and cooking consumables.
The post stated that the preliminary investigation, conducted to determine whether they violated the Law on the Protection of Competition through the exchange of sensitive information, has been completed.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO 3 BRANDS
In this context, the Board found the information, documents, and findings obtained to be serious and sufficient, and decided to launch an investigation into Koroplast, Parex, and Vindex.
On the other hand, the investigation decisions taken by the Board do not mean that the enterprises or associations of enterprises under investigation have violated the law and are facing or will face sanctions.
