Condoms distributed at Grammy-winning singer's concert
At a concert in Missouri, a state where abortion is illegal, singer Olivia Rodrigo, known for her advocacy on abortion and reproductive rights, provided free condoms and birth control pills to music fans.
At a concert in St. Louis, Missouri—a state with a high Republican voter population where abortion is illegal except for certain health risks—three-time Grammy-winning singer Olivia Rodrigo had free condoms and birth control pills distributed to the audience.
PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TO THE CAMPAIGN
The 21-year-old musician, Rodrigo, is drawing attention with her 'Fund 4 Good' campaign, which she launched for reproductive and abortion rights. Collaborating with the National Network of Abortion Funds, the artist donates a portion of the proceeds from her tour to this campaign.
A representative from 'Right by You,' a platform that assists Missouri residents in accessing abortion services out of state, told The Guardian that while Rodrigo invited a series of organizations to the concert, the distribution of birth control supplies was the choice of those organizations themselves.
