Selçuk Ç. stated that he was called by Civelek at 03:30 on October 28, 2023, and that he set out to meet her. Selçuk Ç. noted that he had consumed alcohol before the meeting and had obtained drugs for Civelek. However, he was caught by the police just as he arrived in front of her house.
