Dame Judi Dench signals 'retirement'
World-renowned actress Dame Judi Dench has signaled that she may end her film career, stating that she can no longer see.
The 89-year-old Oscar-winning actress Dame Judi Dench has not appeared on the big screen since her role in the 2022 film 'Spirited'.
Dench stated that she has no new projects due to the vision impairment she is experiencing.
When asked if she had any plans to continue acting, the veteran star commented, "No, no, I can't even see!"
'I CAN DO THAT'
Speaking to Louis Theroux on a BBC program, the British actress said, "I don't want to retire. I'm not doing much at the moment because I can't see. It's bad. I have a photographic memory, so if someone says to me, 'This is your line...', I can do that."
Dench also revealed that when she recently went out to dinner with her partner David Mills, Mills had to cut her food for her because she could not see the meal on her plate.
