Date set for Berk Çetin to stand trial for assaulting Danla Bilic
The first hearing in the trial of Berk Çetin, who is being prosecuted for allegedly physically assaulting social media influencer Danla Bilic, has been set for February 10, 2026.
In the case opened in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district regarding the allegation that Danla Bilic was physically assaulted by her former boyfriend Berk Çetin, prosecutors are seeking a prison sentence of up to 1.5 years for Çetin. Following the incident, Bilic called the police via the KADES application and reported what had happened to the authorities.
HEARING DATE SET
The hearing, which was initially scheduled for October 7, had been postponed because the judge was on leave. According to a report by T24, the new hearing date has been set for February 10, 2026, at 09:50. On this date, the trial of Çetin on charges of 'simple assault against a woman' will begin.
