Unable to reach actor Serhat Kılıç, his girlfriend Özlem E. (50) arrived at the home where Kılıç lived. After knocking on the door and receiving no response, Özlem E. entered Kılıç's home using a key she had in her possession.

Özlem E. found Kılıç motionless, sitting in the living room. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
