Samyeli was reminded of her 'I couldn't bring myself to believe it' statement on the program. Regarding these words, Samyeli said, "I learned this from that: Not being able to bring yourself to believe it is also about you. You should have believed it! The place where you were wrong was your own blindness!"

Samyeli also responded to Kaan Ölker’s question, "Can an ex become a next for you?" as follows:

"No. It was beautiful for that time. People start to become different individuals after some time passes. It is not possible to rebuild that relationship with the same feelings."

Defne Samyeli stated that she is uncomfortable with her name being constantly brought up in news reports about the new romances of people she has broken up with and ended things with, saying, "It's finished, it's over, everyone has gone their own way. It has become like warmed-over cabbage. It's as if two people are constantly being linked to each other's lists. This situation also diminishes the love that was experienced."
