Demet Akalın wears the same outfit she criticized Gülşen for: Here is how she responded to the backlash

Singer Demet Akalın performed at a beach in Dikili, İzmir. The transparent outfit Akalın chose for the concert brought her past comments about Hadise and Gülşen back into the spotlight.

Akalın had previously targeted her colleagues Hadise and Gülşen for wearing transparent outfits.

Regarding the stage costumes of her former friend Gülşen, Akalın had previously claimed that her daughter Hira asked, "Mom, why is your friend on stage in her underwear?" and said, "I felt tense when she asked that; I didn't know what to say. When I told her it was worn because it was fashionable, she objected." 

A follower asked Demet Akalın, who wore a similar outfit at her concert in İzmir, the question: "Didn't your child ask, 'Mom, why are you naked?'"

Demet Akalın, who was criticized for contradicting herself, gave the following response:

"She didn't say that because there is no underwear under mine at a beach concert. Even if she did, I told those writing like you that I would continue to wear them, in case you didn't hear. Let me say it again; as a former swimsuit model, I have worn millions of these in the past. I will continue to do so.”
