Demet Akalın reacts to Şükriye Aci over 'money' issue

In the incident that took place in Eyüpsultan last year, Oğuz Murat Aci lost his life after being struck by a vehicle driven without a license by Timur Cihantimur. The 17-year-old driver, Timur Cihantimur, who caused the accident, fled abroad with his mother, Eylem Tok.

Following the incident, they had been detained for months in the US, where they had fled. At the same time, a decision had been made for their extradition to Turkey. Oğuz Murat Aci's wife, Şükriye Aci, withdrew her complaint against Eylem Tok and Timur Cihantimur with a petition she submitted. The petition stated, "Our material and moral damages have been compensated."

Oğuz Murat Aci's grieving father, Özer Aci, had alleged that his daughter-in-law received 100 million TL for dropping the case.

While this event has been widely discussed in recent days, a reaction also came from famous singer Demet Akalın. Sharing on her X (formerly Twitter) account, Akalın expressed her reaction to Şükriye Aci.
