Demet Akalın and Sefo, who collaborated on one of the most talked-about projects in the music world recently, have made headlines this time not for their success, but for a verbal duel. Speaking after their record-breaking song 'Yerinde Dur', Akalın drew attention with a statement she made at an event she attended.
Targeting Sefo, Akalın made those in the hall laugh by saying, "If only we could have gotten our money from Sefo... He is so stingy! How was I to know it would be such a hit?" However, these words quickly found a wide response on social media.
"SISTER, THAT'S HOW WE AGREED, RIGHT?"
Following Akalın's statements, Sefo responded to the claims by sharing a video on his social media account. Stating that he could not make sense of what happened, the young rapper said, "I've been declared an Illuminati member everywhere. Music is blasting here. Demet sister is still talking about money. I don't understand... Sister, that's how we agreed, right?"
AKALIN'S JOKE EXPLANATION
As the debate grew, Demet Akalın made a new statement via social media. Stating that her words were misunderstood, Akalın emphasized that the matter was entirely a joke.
In her post, the famous singer included the following expressions: "I'm just joking about this now. I don't want any money from Sefo. I owe him for some very nice things. It's still wonderful that the kids are chasing after us. I don't want my money, that's a joke! Goodness! Send my money Sefo, Sefo send my money."
