Deniz Uğur issues apology over 'my son was kidnapped' claim
Deniz Uğur, who claimed that her son Poyraz had been abducted by singer Nilüfer's daughter Ayşe Nazlı Yumlu, has issued a statement via social media.
An apology statement has come from Deniz Uğur, who had claimed that her son Poyraz was being held against his will by singer Nilüfer's daughter Ayşe Nazlı Yumlu.
Deniz Uğur released the following statement on her social media account:
''The discussions that have been reflected in the media during the recent traumatic process have been ended by us, mutual apologies have been exchanged, and misunderstandings have been resolved. For the best interests of the children, from now on, the entire process will be managed by mother Deniz Uğur and older sister Ayşe Nazlı Yumlu in communication and solidarity. We kindly request the public and members of the press to respect our decision and refrain from making further comments on the matter. Thank you.''
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Deniz Uğur, the ex-wife of Reha Muhtar—who was intubated after falling down the stairs at his home in Sarıyer and sustaining serious injuries—held a press conference and made statements regarding the famous artist Nilüfer and her daughter Ayşe Nazlı Yumlu.
In response to a reporter's question, "Could there have been an argument at home after this process that might have caused an accident involving your son Poyraz?", she said, "How would I know that? I don't even know his current health status. Why are they kidnapping him? With what audacity, who is Nilüfer? I am not saying this to belittle her. We know she is a famous artist. But in this incident, who is Nilüfer? Who is Ayşe Nazlı? They have no legal connection. This is child abduction and they will be held accountable before the law."
