Uğur, known for her role as "Sanem" in the series "Adını Feriha Koydum," criticized her fellow actors who called for a boycott in a statement she made on social media. “Where were my fellow actors(!) when I was being mobbed for expressing my thoughts? Which one of them showed sensitivity to my justified rebellion or entered into solidarity with me?

It has never been seen that the acting community, as a professional group, stands in solidarity with one another. Because they have ambition within them; they have a spirit of competition, not solidarity. I wish I didn't know their true colors, but I do. That is why I have very few loved ones.

Pure-hearted people who have not gained as much experience as I have in this den of wolves might believe in your sincerity, but I am not buying this solidarity (!). You paper dolls with punctured egos... You could never manage to be 'real'."
