Derya Balta's striking comment on Dilan and Engin Polat
Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, who were detained as part of an investigation into allegations of money laundering and tax evasion, stated that their average monthly income ranges between 150,000 and 200,000 TL. Following this development, Derya Balta, the wife of former football player Hakan Balta, made a striking comment.
Istanbul Police Department Financial Crimes Branch teams have completed the processing of 18 suspects, including the couple Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, who were taken into custody.
The suspects, whose statements were completed, were transferred to Kartal Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital for health checks at 09:00.
MONTHLY INCOME REVEALED
Meanwhile, the statements given by Dilan Polat and Engin Polat to the police have emerged. Dilan Polat responded to a question regarding their change of residence by saying, "We did it for the children's school," but this turned out to be unfounded.
In her statement, Dilan Polat claimed her monthly income was 150,000-200,000 TL. Engin Polat also declared his monthly income as 150,000-200,000 TL.

Following this development, Derya Balta, the wife of former football player Hakan Balta, made a striking comment under a post on Instagram.

Balta expressed that the couple's monthly income did not reflect the truth with the words, "I didn't laugh, I didn't laugh, but I can't stand this anymore."
