Didem Soydan's statement revealed

In her statement, Didem Soydan stated that she has never used drugs in her life, but began using natural cigarette tobacco following the COVID-19 pandemic, saying, "Approximately 20 days ago, on March 9, 2026, when I went to France for a fashion show, I asked other model friends after the show if they had any tobacco. One of my friends handed me a rolled cigarette they were holding. I took one puff and realized it was not tobacco."

"Upon this, I immediately turned to my foreign model friend and told them that this was not what I wanted; I think what my friend had in their hand was cannabis, but since I have never used it in my life, I do not know," Soydan said, adding, "Other than this, I have never smoked any drugs. As I said, if the substance in the incident I described is a drug, I accidentally took one puff of it here."

According to journalist Ceylan Sever, during her statement, Soydan was also asked about the allegations made by Hakan Kakız: "I know that models Didem Soydan and Umut Eker are close with Kerimcan Durmaz and his friends. In fact, although Samet and Hakan do not have professions that provide a direct income, I had heard that they earned this income from prostitution because they frequently travel abroad and live a very luxurious life despite having no income. I also know that Furkan Çağman, Kerimcan's former manager and current close friend, engages in prostitution, as he openly shares on social media. I can say, based on what I have heard both from social media and from our circle of friends, that these individuals use drugs."

Regarding the allegations, Soydan stated, "Although it is claimed in the statement in question that I use drugs, I have explained above that I do not use drugs. I have no information regarding the other events mentioned in the statement."

"I also do not know whether these names mentioned in the statement use drugs; as I understand it, this person's statement is based on hearsay rather than direct observation," said Soydan. "Indeed, the situation will become clear when HTS records, location information from base station records, and my phone, which I provided voluntarily, are examined. Finally, I absolutely do not accept the accusation; I have not used drugs."
