Tom Bower, the 86-year-old actor who became memorable for his role in the film 'Die Hard,' where he starred alongside Bruce Willis, and who appeared in many productions throughout his career, has passed away.

Bower, who played Marvin, the janitor who helped John McClane—portrayed by Bruce Willis—thwart terrorists at the airport in Die Hard 2, passed away at the age of 86, his sister-in-law Mary Miller announced.

In a statement to the US press, Miller said that the famous actor died in his sleep at his home in Los Angeles on May 30.
