Digital materials were seized by the decision of the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
New developments occur every day regarding the couple Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, who have been constantly in the news due to 'money laundering' allegations and their luxurious lifestyle.
According to an exclusive report by Müslim Sarıyar from 12punto.com.tr; the Financial Crimes Investigation Branch has begun inspections at 15 companies belonging to the Dilan-Engin Polat couple.
As a result of the inspections, which were also attended by tax inspectors, digital materials were seized by the decision of the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

THEY MADE A STATEMENT THROUGH THEIR LAWYERS
On the other hand, a written statement was made yesterday by Çağdaş Çelik, the lawyer for the couple, who are currently under a travel ban.
The statement included the following expressions:
“This statement has become necessary due to the speculative news that has occupied the public agenda for a long time regarding our clients Engin Polat and Dilan Polat. As is known, as a result of baseless reports, unfounded allegations, and slanders made against our clients, an investigation has been initiated by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and a press release was issued to the public on 22.10.2023 by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stating that the necessary investigation is being conducted meticulously.”
“There is no doubt that the legal authorities of the Republic of Turkey will conduct these investigations as required and will ensure that the material truth is revealed. However, we regret to see that, outside the scope of the investigation, many baseless and unsubstantiated allegations are still being served to the public by certain individuals solely to create an agenda, and that the aim is to intentionally lynch our clients.”
'THEIR FAITH IN THE TURKISH JUDICIARY IS INFINITE'
“We declare that we will follow the necessary legal process against individuals and legal entities who use this process for their own benefit to make baseless statements to the public and serve untrue information that damages the personal rights of our clients, and that we reserve all our rights to file lawsuits and complaints in this regard.
Our clients have promptly delivered all kinds of information and documents requested by all official institutions regarding the initiated legal process to the relevant institutions.
We inform the public that our clients are waiting for the conclusion of the legal process and will continue their ordinary lives until the legal process is concluded. Because our clients have infinite faith in the judicial authorities and the Turkish judiciary.”
“In light of these statements, we request that the smear campaigns being attempted to be created in the public eye not be given credence, and that the judicial authorities be trusted regarding the process; we respectfully announce this to the public.”
