The Ministry of Trade's Advertising Board has scrutinized the promotions on the website https://dilanpolat.com.tr and the Instagram accounts of Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, who were arrested on November 5, 2023, as part of a money laundering investigation.

DEEMED TO BE 'ADVERTISING'

According to the report by Meltem Güneş, the investigation concluded that the statements and images in the promotions related to medical procedures that should be performed by physicians, exceeded their scope, and were deemed to be 'advertising'.

347 THOUSAND 128 TL FINE IMPOSED

Furthermore, it was observed that the establishment was referred to by different names in the promotions, and that the address provided in the contact information for the establishment in said promotions differed from the address registered on its license.

In this context, an administrative fine of 347 thousand 128 TL and a cease-and-desist order for the advertisements were issued against the advertiser, D Polat Estetik Sağlık Hizmetleri.
