Director Martin Scorsese to film a documentary
Hollywood's 82-year-old master director Martin Scorsese continues his film production without slowing down. The director, who most recently brought the film Killers of the Flower Moon to audiences last year, is now heading to Sicily this summer to shoot his new documentary.
Director Martin Scorsese, who brought classics such as Taxi Driver, Shutter Island, and Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore to the cinema, is preparing to film a documentary in Sicily about ancient shipwrecks in the Mediterranean.
The documentary, which does not yet have a title, is based on the research of US archaeologist Lisa Briggs, a professor and researcher at Cranfield University in the UK.
The new project from the director, who made a name for himself with his latest film Killers of the Flower Moon, which premiered at Cannes last year, is expected to begin filming in Sicily this summer.
