A new development has occurred in the 'drug' and 'prostitution' investigation targeting celebrities in Istanbul.

In this context, the test results of the samples provided to the Council of Forensic Medicine by former referee Elif Karaarslan, who was arrested on charges of "obscenity", have been released.

Analyses conducted at the Council of Forensic Medicine (ATK) showed that Elif Karaarslan's drug test was positive.

It was learned that drugs were detected in Karaarslan's urine and hair samples.

WHAT HAPPENED?

A new development has occurred in the drug investigation targeting famous figures in Istanbul. The results of the tests conducted on Elif Karaarslan have emerged.

Within the scope of the investigation carried out under the coordination of the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and with the support of the Provincial Gendarmerie Narcotics teams, 11 of the 19 people detained on April 11 were released under judicial control, while 8 people were arrested and sent to prison.

Ali Yaşar Koz, Elif Karaarslan, Mustafa Eyüp Çelik, Mehmet Can Çelik, Cansel Ayanoğlu, Büşranur Çakır, Deniz Metin Yüksel, and Leha Ahsen Alkan were arrested by the on-duty Criminal Judgeship of Peace and sent to prison.

11 people were released under judicial control conditions.
