Ed Sheeran digs a grave in his garden: 'Whenever I die, I'll go in there'

Known for his track 'Shape of You', Ed Sheeran and his childhood sweetheart Cherry Seaborn began their relationship in 2015 and tied the knot in a simple ceremony in 2019.

The famous couple, who welcomed their daughter Lyra Antarctica in August 2020, had their second daughter, Jupiter, in May 2022.

It has emerged that Ed Sheeran, one of the world's highest-earning singers, has dug his own grave in his garden. Speaking to GQ magazine, the British star revealed that he has built a chapel with space where his family can also be buried.

'WHENEVER I DIE, I'LL GO IN THERE'

Ed Sheeran said, "I wouldn't call it a crypt. It's a hole dug into the ground with a bit of stone over it. Whenever I die, I'll go in there. People think it's weird and morbid. I've had friends die without wills and no one knows what to do."

The famous singer stated that the idea for building this space stemmed from a desire to bring together cremated family members.

Ed Sheeran also mentioned that he uses the chapel for his friends' wedding ceremonies.
