Edip Akbayram has passed away

75-year-old artist Edip Akbayram, who had been receiving treatment since January 4, has passed away due to multiple organ failure.

Artist Edip Akbayram (75), who was admitted to intensive care due to internal bleeding at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital after suffering from pneumonia and had been receiving treatment since January 4, passed away today at 19:30 due to multiple organ failure.

"UNFORTUNATELY, HE COULD NOT BE SAVED"

In a written statement issued by the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate, it was stated: "One of our country's valuable artists, Edip Akbayram, has passed away despite all medical interventions at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for approximately two months. The most advanced level of care and treatment was provided to him by our medical teams, but unfortunately, despite all efforts, he could not be saved. We wish God's mercy upon the deceased and extend our condolences to his family, his loved ones, and the art community."
