A message of 'rights, law, and justice' from Ediz Hun

In a statement regarding the students arrested during the İmamoğlu protests, Ediz Hun wrote the following on social media:

"I am following the developments in our country with deep sensitivity. In the light of our Republic, one of the cornerstones of a democratic society is freedom of thought and expression.

Young people are the hope, the tomorrow, and the bright future of this country. Silencing the youth, who shape the future with their ideas, is essentially an obstacle to the future.

Young people's freedom of expression must be guaranteed, and the detained students must be released immediately.

We must stand by art, the artist, the youth, freedom of expression, fair trial, rights, law, and justice; and most importantly, by our Republic."
