Actress Ekin Türkmen, who became widely known for the series "Ekmek Teknesi," shared a notable memory about Yılmaz Erdoğan on a program she attended.
As a guest on Sibel Arna's program, Türkmen spoke about her career and the people she has worked with, and recounted a topic that Yılmaz Erdoğan frequently teased her about while she was in the cast of the latest project, the "Organize İşler: Karun Hazinesi" series.
Türkmen relayed the joke Erdoğan made to her with these words:
"He makes that joke to me a lot as an actor. 'I have never seen an actress who wastes her sex appeal so much,' he says. 'You never use it,' he means. I am only just starting to do that a little bit. He says, 'You are such a feminine woman in real life, but you don't use it.'"
In her assessment of Yılmaz Erdoğan's acting, the famous actress drew attention to his concentration on set. Stating that actors can sometimes get distracted during breaks in filming, Türkmen described Erdoğan's transition into a role with a different example.
Türkmen used the expressions, "His concentration is very high. I mean, we can get distracted or lost in thought during breaks. When Yılmaz Hoca is acting, it is as if he is summoning a spirit. Whatever that character is, he becomes it in an instant and can step out of it just as quickly."
