Criticizing the blocking of Instagram, which has millions of users in Turkey, Elçin Sangu also reacted to those who supported the bans.

Elçin Sangu wrote, "Those who say 'Oh, this is good for me' to every ban are talking so much nonsense with such conviction, aren't they?"

Following her reaction to the bans, Elçin Sangu became a target for some social media users. Exposing the accounts that insulted her on her social media account, Sangu shared, "The group that will send 'please forgive me, sister' messages once a lawsuit is filed is attached below."
