Election night video from the social media star who impersonates Erdoğan: 'Should we give pensioners a 5,000 TL raise?'
Muhammed Nur Nahya, a social media content creator who became a phenomenon with his videos impersonating AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has gone viral on social media with a video he shared regarding the results of the March 31 Local Elections.
The winner of the March 31 Local Elections was the Republican People's Party (CHP). Reaching a vote share of 37.74 percent, the CHP won 14 metropolitan municipalities and 21 provinces, becoming the leading party across Turkey. The results caused great disappointment within the AKP.
Social media phenomenon Muhammed Nur Nahya shared a new video regarding the local election results. Nahya, who impersonates AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, said, "Did we take Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir or something? Let Izmir or something come, show me Izmir. Show me Rize. Let Rize come. Did we win in Rize? Is the balcony speech ready? Should we give pensioners a 5,000 TL raise? What should we do, should we go?" At the end of his speech, he walked out saying, "Where is Fatih, Fatihhh!"
