Endangered otter struck by car in Kastamonu: It lost its life
An endangered otter was struck by a vehicle on the Kastamonu-Taşköprü highway. The vehicle involved in the accident left the scene, and the otter died.
An endangered otter was spotted on the 6th kilometer of the Kastamonu-Taşköprü highway.
It was determined that the endangered otter, which was found by lawyer Ali Kargılı while he was driving to a hearing, had been struck by a vehicle.
The appearance of the otter, which is typically seen in coastal areas and at sea, in the inland parts of Kastamonu surprised citizens.
While the vehicle involved in the accident left the scene, the otter, which died as a result of being struck by the vehicle, was collected from where it was found by officials and buried.
