Engin Altan Düzyatan's statement on Gaza: 'We must not let it be forgotten'

Actor Engin Altan Düzyatan, known for projects such as Diriliş Ertuğrul, Barbaroslar: Akdeniz'in Kılıcı, and Çöp Adam, reacted to the attacks carried out by Israel in Gaza.

Stating that innocent people are being killed in Gaza, Düzyatan also touched upon the sensitivity shown by some famous names at the Cannes Film Festival regarding the killing of innocent Palestinians.

Because we live in a modern society and in a time that flows very fast. Everyone actually has their own troubles on one hand, and their own troubles are also significant. Yes, they see this for a moment and feel sadness about this situation. But after that, everyone actually returns to their own troubles in the world. Because unfortunately, the world is such a place. Everyone thinks that their own trouble is the biggest. But unfortunately, that is not the case."

Saying "A great tragedy is being experienced in Gaza," Engin Altan included the following words in the continuation of his statement:

Of course, as I said, life does not allow for this either. You cannot live thinking about this every day. Unfortunately, there is no such world. Everyone has a life, a trouble.
