Erkan Petekkaya calls on President Erdoğan for help

Making an appeal to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the Göcek neighborhood, Petekkaya said, "Göcek is our country's paradise, its apple of the eye. Some companies are leasing our apple of the eye through MUÇEV, trying to deceive the locals in Göcek, the true landowners, with various tricks, and this company has destroyed all their wealth, their love, and the respect they feel for their homeland."

In his post, Petekkaya wrote the following:

"Mr. President. We are sure that there are many problems you are grappling with within our country. But Göcek is our country's paradise, its apple of the eye. Some companies are leasing our apple of the eye through MUÇEV, trying to deceive the locals in Göcek, the true landowners, with various tricks, and this company has destroyed all their wealth, their love, and the respect they feel for their homeland.

My name is Erkan Petekkaya. I have been in Göcek for 20 years. I believe that the boat owners on this coast and the true owners here are in the right.

I am requesting your help on their behalf. Things are happening that you are unaware of. Finally, Mr. President, I believe that all the boat owners in Göcek, the true owners of this place, belong to these people.

I am requesting your help on their behalf. They are now doing here what the Americans did to the Native Americans. Respectfully."
