Erkan Yolaç's wife Asuman Tuğberk Yolaç has passed away
Asuman Tuğberk, the wife of 48 years to the famous presenter Erkan Yolaç, who passed away last May, has died 17 days after her husband.
Erkan Yolaç, who was etched in memory as the host of the 'Yes-No Contest' broadcast on TRT and who hosted the entertainment program 'Erkan Yolaç Show' on the TGRT channel, passed away on May 16 at the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Asuman Tuğberk, the 1970 Miss Turkey who had been receiving cancer treatment for some time, closed her eyes to the world at the age of 72, 17 days after her husband's passing.
The Yolaç family announced the sad news through a press release:
"1970 Miss Turkey queen and wife of Erkan Yolaç, Asuman Tuğberk Yolaç, passed away on Sunday, June 2."
WHO IS ASUMAN TUĞBERK YOLAÇ?
Asuman Tuğberk Yolaç was born on November 30, 1951, in İzmit. After being crowned Miss Turkey in 1970, she continued her career in modeling and fashion design for women's clothing.
She founded Yolaç AŞ together with her husband Erkan Yolaç, whom she married in 1976. Additionally, she served as the producer of the Erkan Yolaç Show for many years.
