Esposito, who converted to Islam: My life has completely changed

American actor Giancarlo Esposito, a master of Hollywood who was announced to have converted to Islam during the filming of the movie "7 Dogs" by Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, explained the reasons for his conversion to Islam in a statement made in Morocco.

Esposito spoke as follows:

My life has completely changed. The devotion of the people in Morocco to religion and to God impressed me greatly.

Coming to a country where people are religious affects me deeply. The first thing I did was to visit a mosque.

Expressing that the people of Morocco have given him a different perspective, the veteran actor noted the following:

"Coming to a country where people are religious affects me deeply. For me, commitment is everything. To believe in one God, one Allah, and to understand that... In your country, Muhammad is everything. The same applies to me. I feel the same emotions in a country dedicated to goodness, grace, and the energy of God. That is why my life has changed. Understanding how a different culture worships, lives, and makes films is very important for my development as a human being."
