Eurovision rejects Israel for the second time

While calls for Israel to be banned from the Eurovision Song Contest continue, both songs submitted by Israel for the competition have been rejected by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). 

Reports in the Israeli press, citing Israeli Foreign Ministry officials, stated that the song titled "Dance Forever," which Israel submitted for the competition, was rejected by the EBU on the grounds that it, like the first song submitted, "October Rain," refers to the October 7 events between Israel and Palestine and contains political content.

OFFICIALS ARE HOPELESS

The reports, which stated that Israel is still trying to find a solution with the European Broadcasting Union, noted that the officials dealing with the matter are "hopeless."

Numerous people, including politicians and artists from France, Sweden, Spain, Ireland, and Iceland, had called for Israel to be banned from the competition.
