As part of the investigation conducted by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 12 suspects, including Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat, were arrested on charges of "preventing the laundering of crime proceeds, violating the Tax Procedure Law, and violating the law on the regulation of betting and games of chance in football and other sports competitions."

DENİZ AKKAYA TARGETS SELİN CİĞERCİ

Journalist Murat Ağırel, who has been closely following the process involving Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, made allegations of money laundering against Selin Ciğerci and Gökhan Çıra. Deniz Akkaya, in turn, targeted Ciğerci, with whom she had previously feuded and been involved in lawsuits, based on these reports. Emphasizing that Gökhan Çıra's assets should also be investigated, Akkaya stated, "Gökhan Çıra says he was penniless and asks how he would know where the money came from. Journalist Emrullah Erdinç had previously stated regarding the MASAK report on Selin Ciğerci: "Everything Selin Ciğerci has said is true. So far, no illegal transactions have been found in any way related to Selin Ciğerci. Since there is no element of crime, Selin Ciğerci can rest easy."
