Famous actor Caner Özyurtlu has settled in Greece: 'I have become anti-capitalist'
Actor, screenwriter, and producer Caner Özyurtlu, appearing as a guest on a program, stated that he has moved to Greece and has housing security for the first time in his life. Özyurtlu said, "I have become anti-capitalist. Because there is no room for capitalism in Greece."
Caner Özyurtlu, the creator of the series 'Ayak İşleri', was a guest of Mehtap Güngör on the Potkal Psikoloji channel on YouTube.
Describing the life he leads in Greece, Özyurtlu said the following:
"For the first time in my life, I have had housing security for a year. And I used to defend capitalism; I am a communist now. Because I didn't think life could change this much. I didn't know that I could wake up this peacefully without the stress of rent, or that 95 percent of my anxiety was due to housing concerns. I mean, and I am very angry right now..."
'EVEN IF I DO IT SECRETLY...'
Stating, "I wasn't anti-capitalist, I became anti-capitalist," Özyurtlu added, "I had a leftist mindset, but I thought capitalism contributed something to the world; that has passed. Because in Greece, there is almost no room for capitalism. People's spirit is leftist and you see, yes, the municipalities are bad, the roads are like s--t, but people treat each other so well. Because for the first time, I am spending time in a place where you are valuable just for your existence.
That's why, right now, I don't want to earn much money, but I want to be able to do enough to survive, even if I do it secretly, because you earn more money with the name Caner Özyurtlu in a ridiculous way, and I want to complete my life like this without drawing too much attention." he stated.
