US actor Steve Buscemi was attacked in New York, where he was born and raised.
The 66-year-old actor was attacked by a man he did not know while walking on the streets of Brooklyn.
Sources stated that Buscemi was attacked in broad daylight and that they identified the attacker from security camera footage. The identity of the attacker, who was wearing a tracksuit, is not yet known.
TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL
Speaking to the New York Post, sources stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing, adding that Buscemi had swelling on his face and a black eye.
It was announced that Buscemi was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
