Famous actress Beth Peters has passed away
Actress and singer Beth Peters, known for her role in 'General Hospital', passed away in the US on March 14 following an illness.
Beth Peters, who played the character of Mrs. Whitaker in the popular early 1980s series 'General Hospital', has passed away at the age of 92.
Peters' son made the following statement:
"My mother's passing is a great loss for the art world. She will always be with us through what she taught and the feelings she inspired."
Peters performed in regional theaters for the majority of her career.
She appeared on stage at the Sacramento Music Circus, Circle Star Theater, Melodyland, Carousel Theater, Hyatt Music Theater, Dallas Summer Musicals, Fiesta Dinner Playhouse, and Galveston Summer Musicals.
Peters is survived by her son Sean Williams, her stepdaughters Barbara Davison and Monica Lange, as well as her nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
