Famous influencer Aleyna Dalveren detained after 'counterfeit money' post

Officers from the Istanbul Financial Crimes Investigation Bureau took action following footage of social media influencer Aleyna Dalveren sharing posts featuring counterfeit money and a weapon in a luxury vehicle.

Police teams conducted raids on Dalveren’s home and two workplaces in Maltepe.

DETAINED

As a result of the operation, the influencer named Aleyna Dalveren was detained.

During the searches conducted at the addresses, 1,200 dollars, 250 euros, 50 manats, 50 Ukrainian hryvnias, and three thousand dollars and 50 euros in cash suspected to be counterfeit, a money counting machine, a fake police vehicle entry card, a pair of handcuffs, two license plates suspected to be fake, and two digital devices were seized.

The investigation into Dalveren, who was taken to the police station, is ongoing.

WHO IS ALEYNA DALVEREN?

Aleyna Dalveren was born in 1994. Born and raised in Istanbul, Aleyna Dalveren is a student in the Cinema and Television Department at Nişantaşı University.

She drew attention in the world press when the music video for her song 'Havam Yerinde' was compared to Britney Spears' 'Make Me' music video.

Having appeared in a mattress brand commercial, Aleyna Dalveren also acted in the TV series 'Arka Sokaklar' and 'Umutsuz Ev Kadınları'.

First introduced to the television world by participating in the 'Bugün Ne Giysem' competition, Aleyna Dalveren stepped into the music industry in 2014 with her songs 'Hastam Çok' and 'Havam Yerinde'.
