Instagram influencer Elena Larrea has died due to a blood clot that formed following a liposuction procedure.
The 30-year-old influencer Elena Larrea fell ill after undergoing surgery last Tuesday. Elena's family confirmed their daughter's death via social media.
The condition Larrea experienced was described as a rare case where a clot traveled from the legs to the lungs. While the exact cause of the blood clot remains unclear, it is alleged that her death followed the liposuction procedure.
SHE HAD DEDICATED HER LIFE TO ANIMALS
The young influencer was known for her animal activism and the Cuacolandia horse sanctuary she founded 7 years ago. She had dedicated her life to horses, donkeys, mules, and other animals that had been mistreated or abandoned.
After facing financial difficulties following the Covid-19 pandemic, Elena had to sell adult content on a platform for adults to prevent the sanctuary from closing.
