It was announced that the 350-gram package of this brand, which is also sold in Turkey, contains an undeclared dairy ingredient, though this specific product was produced exclusively for the U.S. market. Authorities warned that consuming this product could lead to fatal allergic reactions.
CRITICAL WARNING FROM THE FDA: POSES A RISK FOR THOSE WITH MILK ALLERGIES
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated that the product in question could lead to serious health issues in individuals with milk allergies or sensitivities and could potentially cause fatal allergic reactions. The FDA categorized this situation as a "Class I" recall, announcing the highest level of danger.
The FDA stated that the products at risk were only sold in the states of Washington and Oregon. However, experts emphasized that consuming these chips could lead to serious health problems and could cause death.

According to the FDA's statements, milk is among the eight major food allergens. Consumption of this product containing milk can lead to serious allergic reactions such as itching, dizziness, cramps, swelling of the vocal cords, and loss of consciousness.

STATEMENT FROM FRITO-LAY: NO COMPLAINTS RECEIVED
Lays' parent company, Frito-Lay, stated that no allergic reactions have been reported to date regarding the recalled products. However, it was stated that the products should be recalled as a safety precaution regardless.
RISKY PRODUCTS ANNOUNCED: EXPIRATION DATE AND PRODUCTION CODE INFORMATION
According to the report by Medyaradar, authorities requested that individuals who have purchased the product in question return it to prevent health risks, specifically for products with an expiration date of February 11, 2025, and production codes "6462307xx" or "6463307xx". It was stated that these products are not safe and pose a health risk.
Consumers are advised not to consume these products and to return them.
