Fatih Ürek's family responds to claims that made headlines
The siblings of Fatih Ürek, who passed away last month, have broken their silence regarding allegations that the famous artist's belongings were being sold.
Following the death of Fatih Ürek on January 30, various allegations targeting his family have surfaced on social media. In particular, rumors that the artist's furs were sold by his siblings drew reactions from Ürek's fans.
Fatih Ürek's sisters, Selvi Ürek and Nurgül Fırat, emphasized in a statement to the social media account Gece Muhabiri that the allegations do not reflect the truth. The sisters rejected the claims that the belongings were put up for sale, stating, "All of these things being said are lies and slander. We did not touch anything; we only moved his house. Fatih was living in a rented home, and we moved with movers appointed by the court."
Taking a clear stance regarding the rumors specifically about the furs, the sisters expressed their distress, saying, "They say we sold furs. We don't even know about the furs. The furs are real, but they are in his house. We are truly saddened; please leave us alone. We want to pray for him. Just at that moment, a phone call comes asking, 'Did you see this? Did you hear that?'"
