Singer Fedon Kalyoncu commemorated his paternal grandfather, a martyr of the Battle of Gallipoli, through a social media post.
On the 111th anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory, famous artist Fedon shared an emotional post.
Sharing a photograph of his grandfather on his social media accounts, the famous singer wrote the following:
This MAN you see standing here went to serve in the military in Çanakkale while his wife was pregnant and never returned.
He was martyred for his homeland; neither he could see his son, nor my father his father, nor I my grandfather.
LONG LIVE THE HOMELAND, How happy is the one who says I am a Turk. May you rest in peace, my pride, my grandfather KLEANTİ KALYONCU
