First images from Russell Crowe's new film released
The first images from the new film in which Russell Crowe stars alongside Rami Malek have been released. The Oscar-winning actor became a trending topic on social media due to the weight he gained and the change in his hair color for the role.
Russell Crowe, who is etched in memory for the charismatic characters he has portrayed in his productions, has become virtually unrecognizable for his new project.
The Oscar-winning actor has stepped in front of the camera for the Nazi thriller 'Nuremberg', directed by James Vanderbilt. Playing Hermann Göring, one of the imprisoned Nazis in the film currently in production, the actor gained weight and dyed his hair for the role.
Those who saw the first images released from the film, which also features Rami Malek in its cast, commented on the 60-year-old Russell Crowe, saying "Look how he has changed."
PLOT OF NUREMBERG
Based on the book "The Nazi and the Psychiatrist" by Jack El-Hai, the film tells the story of U.S. military psychiatrist Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Kelley, who travels on a plane with several high-ranking Nazi officials who have been taken prisoner.
The film, in which Rami Malek brings the psychiatrist Kelley to life, is scheduled to be released in 2025.
