FLOOD OF SUPPORT MESSAGES FOR LAÇİN
In her post, Berna Laçin apologized to her friends, beginning her statement with the words, "I apologize for the brief inconvenience I caused my friends." The actress thanked those who supported her, saying, "It is a beautiful thing to be loved; life is beautiful with friends."
Noting that there were many people trying to reach her, Laçin reported that 700 messages had accumulated in just one message group. Stating that she had purchased a new phone because her own is still at the courthouse, the actress informed that her number has not changed.

Laçin concluded her statement with the words, "Thanks to everyone who called, asked, and worried; I am fine, thank you all."
İZMİR POST HAD BEEN THE SUBJECT OF AN INVESTIGATION
Berna Laçin had made a post on her social media account saying, "İzmir was occupied before, too, don't be afraid!" following the news that İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay had joined the AKP.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had launched an investigation into the actress over the aforementioned remarks on charges of "inciting the public to hatred and hostility or insulting."
Laçin, who was detained in Istanbul on October 7, was referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest after giving her statement to the prosecutor's office the following day. The judgeship decided to release the actress.
