First statement from Oktay Kaynarca after being taken into custody

The drug investigation targeting celebrities, conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is deepening.

Within the scope of the file handled by the Smuggling, Narcotics and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, 6 people were taken into custody on charges of "possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use," "facilitating the use of drugs," "encouraging someone to engage in prostitution, facilitating the means for it, or acting as an intermediary or providing a venue for prostitution," and "providing a venue and facilities for gambling."

It was reported that actor Oktay Kaynarca and singer Emel Müftüoğlu were among the suspects.

Following the news of the detention orders reaching the public, the first statement came from Oktay Kaynarca. As reported by Birsen Altuntaş, Kaynarca used the phrase "My conscience is clear, my head is held high" in his brief statement.

Kaynarca stated that a comprehensive briefing would be provided to the public once the reports from the Council of Forensic Medicine are completed. The actor emphasized that he has maintained a clear stance against drugs for a long time and expressed his support for all legal operations conducted in this field.
