First statement from Ufuk Özkan after intensive care: 'Your prayers became my guardians'

Actor Ufuk Özkan, who is remembered for the character Cevahir he brought to life in the series Geniş Aile, has passed the most critical threshold in his difficult health journey. Having undergone a successful liver transplant operation, Özkan thanked his fans for their prayers and support after being discharged from intensive care.

Prof. Dr. Remzi Emiroğlu, Prof. Dr. Murat Dayangaç, Prof. Dr. Onur Yaprak, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cenk Şimşek announced that the health status of both the famous actor and his donor is very good.

Sharing his feelings after the intensive care process, Özkan stated, "I thank everyone very much. It has been 5-6 hours since I opened my eyes. A surgical procedure lasting approximately 8 hours was performed. My very valuable doctors Prof. Dr. Remzi Emiroğlu, Prof. Dr. Murat Dayangaç, Prof. Dr. Onur Yaprak, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cenk Şimşek achieved something incredible. First of all, I thank our former Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca. I didn't think I was loved this much. So many people prayed. I thank everyone who prayed and everyone who loves me. Your prayers became my guardians. We will meet on our feet soon."

On the other hand, a press conference will be held in the coming days to inform the public, with the participation of Ufuk Özkan, his donor, and the physicians who performed the surgery.
