Freddie Mercury’s London home listed for sale for 1.1 billion TL
The London home of the unforgettable musician Freddie Mercury has been listed for sale at a record price. The property will only be shown to those who can prove they can afford the asking price.
Queen lead singer and famous artist Freddie Mercury’s home, located in the English capital London, has been listed for sale at a price of 1.1 billion TL (30 million pounds).
However, it has been learned that certain details regarding the house are being kept confidential for privacy reasons and will only be presented to individuals who can prove they are capable of purchasing it.
FLOOR PLAN NOT DISCLOSED
According to the real estate agency Knight Frank, which is handling the sale of Garden Lodge—the home in Kensington where Mercury resided until his death in 1991—the floor plan and square footage information have not been disclosed for privacy reasons.
Only two photos of the interior, showing a section of the entrance hall and a corner of the yellow-painted dining room, will be shared with the public.
The famous artist bequeathed the house and everything inside it to his partner and closest friend Mary Austin, who moved in shortly after his death.
The contents of the house were sold at auction in September 2023.
