Famous actress Deniz Çakır, who brought the character of Ferhunde to life in the hit series of its time, Yaprak Dökümü, has made a confession about her role years later. Explaining the scene where she sobbed uncontrollably, Çakır stated that the scene was special to her in many ways.

A confession about the series came years later from famous actress Deniz Çakır, who is etched in memory for the character of Ferhunde she brought to life in the record-breaking series.

Çakır said, "Ferhunde was different; her story was very authentic. Also, it was very enjoyable to play a colorful character, what is crudely called a 'bad woman.' She was a woman who kept her ambitions and weaknesses very much in the foreground."
The actress stated, "She really loved Şevket. Then, when she came home and saw the mansion, the demons inside her suddenly woke up. It is certain that she loved Şevket more than the other men."

"This scene was very real. I really sobbed uncontrollably there. This scene is very special in many ways. I listened to Halil-ağabey while looking directly into his eyes.
