Celebrities who participated in boycotts removed from TV series: Şahan Gökbakar calls out producers! 'Have some backbone!'
The number of famous actors losing their jobs due to social media boycott calls is increasing. The process, which began with Aybüke Pusat being removed from the series Teşkilat, has also affected Furkan Andıç, Boran Kuzum, Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, Eray Ertüren, and Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu. Şahan Gökbakar reacted to the producers via social media.
Famous names who called for a boycott on social media have been removed from TRT series one by one. The contracts of Aybüke Pusat, Furkan Andıç, Boran Kuzum, Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, and Eray Ertüren were terminated.
Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu, the lead actor of Şakir Paşa Ailesi, was detained due to his boycott-related posts. Following his statement, Üzümoğlu was released under judicial control, including a travel ban.
Famous figures have reacted to the removal of actors from the cast of these series and the launch of investigations. One of those names was Şahan Gökbakar.
'HAVE SOME BACKBONE'
In a post he shared on social media, Gökbakar addressed the producers, stating: "Producers who sell out and abandon the actors you make money thanks to, whose projects you get accepted, and whose feet you kiss to have them star in your series, at the slightest pressure, request, or phone call, you should also be a bit of a man and have some backbone..."
