Actor Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu, one of the 11 people detained for supporting the boycott, was released yesterday under judicial control.
After his release, Üzümoğlu made his first post on social media late at night via X. Üzümoğlu used the phrases, "We are not silent, we are not afraid, we do not obey."
"THIS COUNTRY IS OURS"
In a statement he made today on the social media platform Instagram, Üzümoğlu thanked those who showed their support.
Stating, "This country is ours, the future is ours," Üzümoğlu noted the following in his post:
"I thank everyone for the support they have shown. If we stand together, if we stand arm in arm without calling each other 'the other,' if we do not hesitate to speak our word in peace, days full of hope are ours. We must fight for our imprisoned youth, our tomorrows, our future president, our engineers, our doctors, our artists. This country is ours, the future is ours."
