He was in court: Harsh words from Özcan Deniz to his family

Famous artist Özcan Deniz, who frequently makes headlines due to tensions within his family, is going through difficult times due to problems with his mother, Kadriye Deniz, and his brother, Ercan Deniz. After statements made by his family members about him, Deniz suffered a heart spasm and was hospitalized.

Stating that his health is good, the artist avoided talking about his private life and used the following expressions: "I have a principle of not talking about family matters. I am already sad that they are talking. I do not want to do the same. Please show understanding for this as well. I no longer look at family matters as romantically as I used to."

INVESTIGATION OPENED

An investigation has been launched against Özcan Deniz for "causing zoning pollution" and "violating the Law on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Assets" on the grounds that he made unlicensed additions to three villas located within a protected area in Sarıyer, Istanbul.

Making a statement after giving his testimony at the courthouse, Deniz stated that he had gone to the municipality to apply for a building renovation permit. The famous artist made a harsh statement regarding the issue, saying: "Even if it is demolished, I will set up a tent there and live in it. That place is my child's right, law, and my labor; no one can take that away."

Özcan Deniz also became a topic of conversation with the statements he made on his social media account. He reproached his family by saying, "Do not expect from me the titles you could not place next to my name anymore. Live with the shame and sin of the hostilities you created by seeing me as a 'rival' instead of a son or brother."

He continued his words as follows:

"I am not leaving you to God, but rather entrusting you to God, you who are trying to tear down my home and break up my family today. The righteous are in no hurry. I am patient, and you will not succeed!"

MUTUAL ACCUSATIONS CONTINUE

Özcan Deniz’s mother, Kadriye Deniz, responded harshly to the allegations that she had committed violence against her daughter-in-law, Samar Dadgar, saying, "I didn't lay a hand on her, I didn't touch her. I haven't seen Samar Dadgar for three years." She also stated that her son does not bring her grandson, Kuzey, to see her.

Deniz’s sister, Sibel Semerci, claimed that their mother was being manipulated and stated: "Ercan Deniz is trying to usurp Özcan’s copyrights. The future of 6-year-old Kuzey is in danger. Özcan only said, 'Give me the house I live in, I don't want anything else,' but Ercan made different moves."

Older brother Ercan Deniz accused Özcan Deniz, saying, "Özcan is playing with my livelihood and my future. He is trying to discredit me. A debt of 75 million is left to me, while 150-200 million worth of my assets and property are in Özcan’s name. Justice will surely be served."
